The part-time Art House Coordinator is an integral part of the Art House Program at Mobile Loaves & Fishes’ Community First! Village, a 51-acre master planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness. The Art House Coordinator helps create, facilitate, and oversee programs that provide opportunities to empower communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless through the power of art and creation, empowering formerly homeless individuals as they realize and develop their God-given talents and earn dignified income from their work. The Art House Coordinator will support the Art House program by contributing to the development and production of various types of artwork and goods (including fine art, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, and other products) and by relationally stewarding and partnering with neighbor artisans and volunteers who participate in the program.
